Introduction
The Motto Sheet Music Collection invites you to visit our rooms.  We’re open Monday through Thursday, 10am – 3pm.  We have 1000’s of pieces of sheet music of American popular song to browse and 100’s of music books to borrow.  We have biographies, books about music trends and styles, and collections of holiday carols and hymns.  Curator, Bobbi Hampson, is available to help Monday-Thursday, 10a-3pm or you can make a special appointment.

Motto Music Collection
The sheet music collection presents a chronological picture of America from the Civil War through the music of the 1980’s  It includes melodies of Stephen Foster, political campaign songs, treasures of Tin Pan Alley, Broadway and Hollywood shows, big band arrangements, rock ‘n’ roll hits, folk, jazz and country music.

Meticulously indexed with extensive cross-references, the collection is a resource for anyone searching for a specific song, for a theme, for personal entertainment, or for doing scholarly research.  It continues to grow through donations and contributions.
